چکیده
Abstract The electroosmotic flow of non-Newtonian fluid–Eyring fluid in microparallel pipes under high zeta potential driven by the combination pressure and electric force is studied. Without using Debye–Hückel (DH) linear approximation, numerical solutions distribution velocity obtained finite difference method are compared with analytical approximate DH approximation. results show that this article effectively reliable. In addition, influence various physical parameters on discussed detail, it Eyring increases increase potential.

Electroosmotic capillary flow with nonuniform zeta potential
The present work is an analytical and experimental study of electroosmotic flow (EOF) in cylindrical capillaries with nonuniform wall surface charge (zeta-potential) distributions. In particular, this study investigates perturbations of electroosmotic flow in open capillaries that are due to induced pressure gradients resulting from axial variations in the wall zeta-potential. The experimental ...
متن کاملUnified slip boundary condition for fluid flows.
Determining the correct matching boundary condition is fundamental to our understanding of several everyday problems. Despite over a century of scientific work, existing velocity boundary conditions are unable to consistently explain and capture the complete physics associated with certain common but complex problems, such as moving contact lines and corner flows. The widely used Maxwell and Na...

In this paper an analysis is presented to understand the effect of non–Newtonian rheology, velocity slip at the boundary, thermal radiation, heat absorption/generation and first order chemical reaction on unsteady MHD mixed convective heat and mass transfer of Casson fluid past a wedge in the presence of a transverse magnetic field with variable electrical conductivity. The partial differential...
